We have two final OOC games this week before conference play begins this weekend.
Remember that in league play this year, Women will play Thursday/Saturday and Men Saturday/Monday. Order of opponents will also be different, the Women and Men will both play the same opponent for the Saturday DH, but the Women's Thursday Opponent will be the Monday Men's Opponent. I will make note of that in the games list.

Senior star player (Erin Peoples) has been out with an injury. I believe her first game back was either SAM or UNT. Won both of those. Not sure how much help she will be. Just letting ya know.

We start with two of the projected worst teams in the league. Then again, we are also one of the projected worst teams in the league. Would be nice to get off to a 2-0 conference start.

I hate playing at home to open conference play. Still during Christmas break and student turnout is so bad. I'd prefer to start on the road and come back to play our first conference home games once the students are back.

Only thing I will say about the Cajuns is that they are the only top 5 school that has to play all 4 of the other top 4 twice.

The Georgia Schools, Arkansas Schools, and Texas schools only see each other once this year. UTA doesn't have to play at an Arkansas school, the Arkansas Schools don't have to go to Georgia.

Lady Bobcats win 83-62 to open conference play and are tied for (at least) first. It may not last long but we'll take that position while the getting's good.

Astate' s women beat ulm by 15. 11th straight win over the war hawks

UTA starts their opener over App 16-2, App fights back and takes a 61-60 lead, UTA says oops and wins 74-63.

8-3, 1-0

ULM destroys Grambling St. 81-45.
