Power Conference Rankings/G4 Rankings
I think this is probably how it shaped out this year:

Power Conferences:
1. SEC
2. Big 10
3. ACC
4. Pac12
5. AAC
6. B12

Group of 4
MWC
MAAC
Sunbelt
Cusa

hahahahhahahahahahaha...................you can try to add the AAC to the P5 list until you suffer from permanent writers cramp but you still won't be considered one of them until the NCAA says you are. Talk about being the broke kid who can only stand outside and stare in the window of the candy store.

RE: Power Conference Rankings/G4 Rankings
The bottom of the conference dragged it down, but I think the B1G was #1 this year. After Alabama, the SEC was just a bunch of 8-4/7-5 teams. The top 5 in the B1G all had fantastic years, and you could argue that they have 4 of the top 6 or 7 teams in the country.

Everything else I agree with 100%.

It never ends. Even in the face of embarrassment.

For the rest of you AAC folks, are you all still jumping on this silly bandwagon? Or does this post embarrass you?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Five_conferences

Excerpt: With the establishment of the College Football Playoff in 2014, the term "automatic qualifying conference" is no longer in use, as the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) has been discontinued. However, five of the six former AQ conferences are now known as the "Power Five conferences": the Big Ten Conference, the Big 12 Conference, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the Pac-12 Conference, and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The American Athletic Conference (AAC or "the American"), the football successor to the Big East Conference, lost its status as a major conference.

The AAC and the other four conferences in the FBS are known as the "Group of Five" (sometimes called the G5 or GO5). Besides the AAC, the other four members of the Group of Five are Conference USA (C-USA), the Mid-American Conference (MAC), the Mountain West Conference (MW), and the Sun Belt Conference.

So.......according to the above the AAC is STILL looked at as G5. Sorry boys but your delusional dream is just that. A dream.

The Massey composite rankings say it all.

......unless it no longer supports your agenda or argument, then the Massey would be meaningless to you. Previously you cited the major polls as being authoritative, but the Houston lost a few, and Navy got exposed, so you change your tune.

This AAC forum has become the favorite spot for non-AAC people to come and watch, because it is a comedy club. You folks are delusional.

So then do you all agree that WMU is BETTER than EVERY AAC team? The BEST G5 in the country? And by a long shot? That's what Massey says. Lets hear it boys......

If the fish pulls on the line hard enough, the friction is overcome, and the reel rotates backwards, letting line out, preventing the line from breaking.  You want to set the drag on a fishing reel before your first cast of the day. Adjusting it while fighting a fish can be difficult.

Yes. I also believe your conference schedule is easy and that you wouldn't have finished undefeated in the American, but your team is having a special year. I just hope you guys aren't the reincarnation of the 2012 NIU team. You guys would definitely have been in our upper third and competed for the conference championship.
