I was never really hyped on this one, because I figured Shapiro would be awkward and too straight-edge for Joe, but credit to him, he obviously knows how to adapt. One of the better JREs in a while.

about an hour into it now. I think he's analysis of trump is spot on.

Listened at work today...got well over half way. Shapiro is a very good guest and his analysis of Trump would probably shock most liberals.

Wait, Rogan is one of the most vocal proponents of legalizing weed there is, a self avowed heavy smoker, and as such should be a dullard and half brain dead according to some here.

Morgan has said something interesting **** against the democrats recently. And Shapiro is one of the sharpest young conservatives out there in the public eye.

I agreed with him on about 75% of what Shapiro said.

#996 was amazing for quantifying and maximizing performance.

Which brought up Wim Hof again. I have admittedly a VERY large JRE backlog. But I see Wim Hof has been on the show twice. I'm watching the first one now (712), and it is already a Top 5 all time JRE just a half hour in.

I can't escape the feel in my gut that there's SOME bull**** here that Wim is saying. But I checked and there IS science backing him up. Including science directly on him and his students. And there is SOMETHING to those breathing techniques too. They DO work to hold your breath 3-4 times longer than you ever have before without any training in just 10 minutes. And there's actually a fair amount of information on holotropic breathing suggesting you can control your own body's release of DMT as Wim would suggest. But the REALLY mind blowing them is having control over your own endocrine and immune systems. That's freaky.

Any one listen to the one with Peter Schiff? I loved it.

He finally figured out how to get Peter to slow the hell down. He's so amped from having to cram in everything in a 4 minute segment on CNBC and shout over everybody to be heard. He's much better when he unwinds and slows down.

The Peter Schiff and W Kamau Bell episodes are the only episodes that I can say that I didn't really come away respecting the guests a little more.

I think Rogan missed an opportunity to ask if Schiff would practice what he preaches. As much as he says you don't need college as much as you would think, would he hire someone at his company without a college degree? Is he hiring Puerto Ricans or just bringing over his close associates and saying "This is a sweet deal! You don't even actually have to see a real Puerto Rican if you don't want to."

Finally got around to JRE #958 with Jordan Peterson. HOLY ****.

That was the most insightful, intellectually rigorous, broad, and and interwoven content I've digested since reading Atlas Shrugged itself. It was THAT good.

Wow.

WOW.

I'm going to have to watch that entire 3 hours a few times to soak it all in.
