people also have to realize, that once you lose people it's not always so simple to get them back. Winning will cure most ailments of course. But once someone goes without, it's that much harder to bring them back in. It's not a Memphis specific issue, just a fact of life.

I don't have any actual numbers, I don't think anyone does except the school. But a lot of those empty Tiger seats have already been paid for, those folks just aren't coming back to the games yet. So, yes, Grizzlies have an effect, but the Tigers have a much bigger effect on themselves by putting an underachieving product out the last few years, more than any other "entertainment" dollar event ever will.

I've been to 3 games already. More than I've been to in 3 years combined. Of course, residence has some to do with it - but the coach does as well.
