Our OC and DC left, then GOL became AD/HC. So it fell to our 2014 OL coach to run the program in 2015. We also lost many 2014 starters, then team leaders Holman and Akins were injured, then our star RB Stanback was kicked off the team. It was a perfect storm. Then morale collapsed and we started losing every game by 50. Talent and coaching don't matter if the kids don't want to be on the field.

So it was coaching, but more a lack of leadership than lack of X's and O's

Tulsa and UCF have had remarkably similar losses

Both of us were blown out by a Big Ten powerhouse. Both of us lost to Houston by a touchdown. Both of us lost to our division leaders by less than a field goal.

No surprise that Vegas sees this is a pretty even match.

Alabama is a few plays away from being 0-10.

I gotta hand it to Houston fans. They were the only fanbase on here that would talk about UCF having a quick turnaround before any games were played this season

UCF could be much more than that. UCF is huge. If the team can motivate their fans, UCF could be a power player for years.

UCF is exactly 0 plays away from bowl eligibility and what a success that is for this year. Everything from here is just gravy.

And we were just two games away from a perfect season but then we got screwed.

Army last year was a few plays away from being 8-4 or 9-3 but we didn't make them so we went 2-10.

I don't know about being screwed unless you count the schduling

I hope that Frost's career will go that way, but Oregon and Nebraska will not be where he will want to go. Recruiting for those schools will never be consistent. Be a winner and go where can be more successful. I am thinking more ACC or Pac. More pressure but a better chance at more rewards.
