Navy should be ranked next week. Just beat a strong Tulsa team... beat a #6 Houston squad and ND OOC... Their resume is shaping up nicely.

Please navy has yet to have a true quality win. They beat a very mediocre houston team, a horrible ND (which pretty much every pollster ended up agreeing a one point win was not a good look), and a tulsa team that lost to a mediocre houston.

Those are not quality teams, the fact that houston is ranked ahead of navy shows how much respect they have for their schedule.

Ok, genius. You know more than the commentators of the game today. They echoed the same sentiment.

Hey they may be ranked in ap, but i doubt they get ranked in the playoff. So far i have yet to be wrong.

It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong. Your opinion is worthless either way. At least the pundits are getting paid and have incentive to be right.
You've already admitted that you don't base anything you say on statistics (i.e. Massey). All you do is spew garbage that is aimed at getting people to say "wtf?".
I get it. The internet is a verbal medium. It's not like you can just walk into a room and draw that reaction based on your looks.

Stranger things have happened. I mean the Cubs just won the World Series, Cleveland has a world title thanks to LeBron, and Donald Trump is the President-Elect of the United States!

I base things on statistics lol. I have said no one else cares about massey, and that they dont use that when ranking the teams. So far i have been right. Your just upset about being wrong. The fact that people see my statements as "wtf staments" means im the only one not wearing rose colored glasses when it comes to seeing how things are.

If your butthurt lasts longer than five weeks after losing to Navy you should consult a physician.

Navy will not be ranked in the AP poll this week. As for the CFP Poll, who knows. I don't think anyone really understands their methodology.

Their methodology is a call from the TV execs and money under the table. They should do a playoff of conference champions only.

10 champs with 7/10 and 8/9 playing on first weekend and the other 6 joining the fray afterwards. No bowls and no Indy teams allowed. Time for those teams to make a choice and stop playing the field (coughBYUcough)

The mental gymnastics Houston fans are using to rationalize how a Navy team could possibly beat them is getting my heartrate up. I should skip my workout today and just read this thread. Counts as cardio.

It really kind of sucks too because if Houston had won out and was sitting in the 5/6 spot in the polls then after the chaos of this weekend they would control their destiny for getting into the play offs.

I'd agree if it seemed like they just had some injury troubles or a few off games.

But in reality, you are what your record says you are. UH is 8-2 but it could also be 6-4 with losses to Tulsa and UCF. I feel like the team was a bit overhyped based on last season and certain things caught up to them, including but not limited to injuries, back in October. They just haven't looked dominant since September and even some of those great wins from back then don't look so great, OU is overrated (they almost lost to Texas and who is their best win, Kansas State? TCU? Baylor?) and the rest of their wins turned out to be against very poor teams.

It is possible that Navy could lose two games. That is why they play. However, Navy has a 19 game November win streak.
