Including the Big East, the ACC was 40-36 against the rest of the P6. While that's OK, I think it (should have) foreshadowed a less than dominating performance in the tournament by the conference. We had a lot of very good teams, but all of them were inconsistent.

This was a year without a truly dominating team, and any of a dozen teams could have won the NCAAT without it being a huge surprise.
