Electoral College
I keep seeing something on the news about the Electoral College. Are they any good? Are they looking to join a conference? If so, what conference?

Or are they just AP Pollsters? Apparently each state has an electoral college.

Well, the electoral college (by deciding the presidency) may just save college sports as we know it. Electing an executive who will finally reign in an out of control Department of Education Office of Civil Rights who unilaterally decided (regulations implementing federal law) that Title IX requires gender quotas (group rights rather than individual merit) and equal expeditures without regard to interest or sport popularity. Good news for underrepresented men's collegiate (and Olympic) sports and better news for universities who have been subsidizing athletes who really don't want to compete but are there only for the money.

The Ivy and service academy model is instructive. You are there because of the total package and will remain with or without continued participation in the sport that may have been the deciding factor in your admission to your school.

Good point.

Also, I bet that you're going to see a reversal of the decision to require universities' res life offices to act as de-facto judge, jury, and executioner for sexual abuse cases.
