Military problem - USAF - SO YOU DON'T THINK IT IS?
Okey dokey, we’re entering the final weekend before the critical presidential election of 2016. There are many reasons why I cast my vote for Donald J. Trump. We have articulated many of them here on this website –economic growth, reduction of our federal debt and deficits, ending the insidious federal reserve monetary policy known as quantitative easing (manipulation of interest rates and printing of money), advancing our energy security, abject weakness in foreign policy, securing our borders — but most importantly, restoring “peace through strength.” We’ve witnessed a horrific decimation of our military capability and capacity. We’ve seen the incredible aiding and abetting of the global Islamic jihad during the Obama reign — to the detriment of lives not just across the world, but right here on our own shores.

But, if you REALLY want a true indicator, a real reason why the likes of another progressive socialist such as Hillary Clinton should not be president, I introduce this piece of evidence.

As reported by Military.com, “U.S. airmen changing genders can now seek temporary exemptions from gender-specific physical fitness tests, uniform requirements and bathrooms, according to a new policy.

The Air Force detailed the changes in a guidance, “Air Force Policy Memorandum for In-Service Transition for Airmen Identifying as Transgender,” released Oct. 6 by Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James and Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein.

“This is another step in allowing transgender Airmen to serve openly, receive medical care relating to gender transition and allow transgender individuals to join the Air Force,” James said in the release. “Our strengths as a military are the quality and character of our people, and those things that make us unique are the same things that make us strong.”

While the rules — which are already in effect — deal with accessing and retaining transgender airmen, they also specify the circumstances in which recruits would be disqualified from serving, such as those diagnosed with gender dysphoria who haven’t been medically cleared as stable for at least 18 months.

Transgender airmen undergoing cross-sex hormone treatment may request an exemption from taking the physical fitness assessment, or PT test, “during their period of transition, prior to a gender marker change in the MilPDS,” according to the memo. However, airmen must first provide evidence of a documented PT failure, with their commander authenticating how the airman made a full and clear effort to meet the PT standards of their current gender.

Transgender airmen may submit an Exception to Policy, or ETP, to adhere to their preferred gender’s dress and appearance standards prior to their official gender marker change in MilPDS.”Until an ETP request has been approved, transgender Airmen must adhere to their current gender’s dress and appearance standards as reflected in MilPDS,” the memo states. “The request will require supporting justification, an assessment by their immediate commander, and further recommendations by their chain of command” before being approved by Air Force headquarters, it states. Transgender airmen will use military lodging, bathrooms and shower facilities associated with their gender marker in MilPDS and/or the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System.”

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot? (WTF)

Now, this is the same Secretary of the Air Force, Deborah Lee James, who first of all has never served in uniform, and who issued a policy statement with the service goal of mandatory reduction of white, male heterosexuals in the Air Force – you know, the whole “affirmative action” scheme.

And now we have this coming from a service suffering from the grounding of its next generation fighter aircraft the F-35. Yes, I know one can multitask, but instead of being concerned about social engineering programs, shouldn’t the Secretary of the Air Force focus on the core war fighting capabilities of the service she’s supposed to supervise?

I believe cyber security falls under the Air Force domain, I know Space Systems do, so where is the policy statement from Ms. James on that critical issue?

Now, let’s come to a realization: anyone seeking to have a sex-change operation suffers from the mental condition called “gender dysphoria,” so I fail to understand this medical clearance process. This isn’t like evaluating someone from a knee injury as to whether they can return to duty.

And Ms. James, just who is paying for this “cross-sex hormone therapy?” And who came up with this inane language of “gender marker change?” So now, it appears the U.S. Air Force under the supervision of Ms. James, knows better than God Almighty in determining what sex a person is…since when was that a core competency and mission of our U.S. Air Force, or our military period?

It is not, but it represents the ideologic agenda of the progressive socialist left and their drive towards the supremacy of man instead of recognizing the God-given inalienable rights of the individual.

Apparently the left knows better regarding all this “self-identify” mumbo jumbo, and they’re hell bent to implement it in our military because they’ve always sought to reform the military into their vision of society.

Ms. James represents a mentality that doesn’t believe there are absolutes, not even the most simple — man and woman…they’ve already remade the marital roles of husband and wife. But to do this in our military at such a critical time where we have multiple challenges is absurd and unconscionable.

Let me state this clearly: if you’re confused about your gender, the U.S. military isn’t the place to “find” yourself. And it’s certainly not the place to have American taxpayers pay for your mental condition of gender dysphoria.

So now, how many psychiatric evaluations have to be done in order to “medically clear” individuals for their free sex-change operation? Will the Air Force, and the military overall, have to hire more psychiatrists, or will they outsource this to more civilian psychiatrists which means increased costs? And that means dollars and resources that go towards individual behavior, instead of military readiness.

I have no issue making sure an injured Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine gets medical treatment for valid injuries or care for issues such as PTSD. However, someone who is confused about their gender and wants to go from guy to gal…well, the military isn’t about appeasing individual behaviors — and certainly not defined mental conditions.

Let me give you an example. Troops with alcohol issues are given one chance, and offered counseling and assistance, but multiple instances of drunken behavior, certainly a DUI — and your military career is over. Drug usage is not condoned, albeit the current SecDef wants to lift that restriction for recruits — another insidious liberal progressive agenda. So, ask yourself, why is the U.S. Air Force creating exemptions for Airmen suffering from a mental condition — gender dysphoria?

Yep, herein lies a very clear reason why Hillary Clinton cannot be commander in chief…there will be more of this nonsense, not to mention institutionalizing criminal behavior — maybe that’s the next exemption. Deborah Lee James is indicative of the failure of these liberal progressives when it comes to our national security. Just think, two of our Warriors lost their lives, another four were wounded this past week in Afghanistan — and the issue is exemptions for sex-change therapy recipients?

Secretary of the Air Force, Deborah Lee James, you have earned the distinction of being named the recipient of the AllenBWest.com FUBAR award. I look forward to you packing up and leaving the premises of the Pentagon— very soon, I’m praying.
------------------------------End of story-------------------------------------------

No wonder... just look at her party affiliation. They are screwing up everything. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deborah_Lee_James

Let's hope for the best, Tom. At least, we are trying to make our parts.
