Well, he was a JUCO transfer brought in by Brownell, so he was here 2 years. But believe it or not he appeared in 33 games for that 2005-06 Seahawk team under Brownell, averaging a healthy 20.2 minutes per game and racking up 92 assists.

In Benny Moss' first season, he started 23 games, averaged 30.7 mpg, with 7.2 points per game, 5.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds.

He played particularly well in a home win over Colorado that season (a game I was at, with a sizable announced crowd of 5,099). His statline in that one was 12 points on 6-8 shooting, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 8 steals. Yes, you read that right: He nearly had a triple double. Afterwards, Colorado's coach praised the atmosphere at Trask, probably the last time anyone would do so again until Keatts arrived. That game was Nov 26, 2006, nearly 10 years ago. Crazy.

I remember that game. That's right. I forgot he came as a JUCO. I did like him the one year I saw him. I graduated in '06.

Yep. He seemed like a good dude too. Very much a "Brownell kid".

It's nice to see our program back to a solid level in recruiting in terms of quality players that are quality people first. I really like what Keatts has done with things.
