There's a whole lotta scandals in that bushel of "scandals of little merit."
Never mind the bushel baskets that contain the Clinton scandals which have serious merit.

A man must have a code. I'm more interested in local races anyways since those will effect me more.
I agree Squid. At some point compromising ones belief system becomes out of the question. Trump pushed it over the edge with me.
Just his comment aimed at McCain...."My heroes did not get captured." was damn near enough for me from the start.
Chastize me if you want but I don't consider Cain a hero either. When his plane got shot down he was doing a JOB that he knew might not turn out right for him. Just ask any cop, fireman, FBI agent or anyone that knowingly signs up for this dangerous jobs if they consider themselves heroes.
I still remember this douche of a fire lieutenant that got offended when I told him that I didn't consider myself a hero that I was just doing MY JOB. A job that I was trained to do. A guy got killed mowing the grass at the airport is he considered a hero? No. Same thing with those people I referenced, they can get killed too but THEY will be called heroes so why not the field maintenance man at the airport?
Im not going to address your personal feelings on the subject. Your opinion is quite frankly inconsequential to this subject. Trumps comments on this subject are however open to fully open to comment and have potential damaging consequences since he is seeking the office of POTUS and Commander in Chief of our armed services.
The hero never considers themselves a hero and John McCain has never claimed he was one. In armed combat the members of our military do their jobs in the face of incredible adversity and sometimes with their lives. Thus?...Why those of us that observe that behavior admire it and want to honor it. For the potential leader of our armed forces to be so cavalier as to disrespect John McCains service and his physical and mental trials as a POW is a disgrace and a slap in the face to every serviceman and woman to ever wear the uniform now..or ever.
I might could have overlooked some of Trumps other BS comments..but..I cant..and will not overlook this. This was the deal breaker for me a long time ago.

So if a lot of people are leaving the ballot blank, it should be reflected in final vote totals next week, correct?
My suspicion is that a lot of people are saying they didn't vote for either one, but that in the end, they just voted their normal political preference. I guess we will see for sure in a few days.

then just shut your mouth and not say anything then. That comment about McCain was unneeded at best and stupid for optics at worst.
It was disgraceful. Evidently Trump skipped US History and how our POWs were treated in Vietnam. I guess he did not know that John spent 5 1/2 damn years as a POW and endured both physical and mental torture at the hand of the enemy. Trump is not worthy of shaking McCains hand. He is a POS.

Would an indictment change any minds?
It's kinda scary but I don't think it would.

Very few people are leaving the ballot blank. I think this forum probably has more of independent mind than the general public.

No. Hillary has urged her sheep to vote early. The rest will be lead to the slaughter.

Good point on the primaries. We got saddled with these two by voters. There were decent options...especially on the GOP side to have a candidate that people would not have to hold their nose and vote for. I would have voted for damn near any one that ran in the primaries that lost...over Clinton. I just could not stomach Trump..period.
McCain was my last pick in the primaries. I got behind him anyway.
Romney was my last pick in the primaries. I got behind him anyway.
Trump wasn't even on the radar and was so far from even my last candidate in the primaries. Not a consideration in the slightest. No way, no how should a low life Democrat scumbag be even a passing though as a protest vote.
We were handed the Presidency and clowns wanted to play ******* games.

i'm not saying criticism of HRC is wrong, but you discredit yourself when you prop up scandals that have very little merit to them.

He's just mentioning the ones that have merit. There are a LOT of others that may or may not have merit. Unless you believe she is a total moron, she knew what was going on with the cattle futures. Why would Merrill Lynch take the losses if they didn't let the Clintons know? If you know anything about S&Ls & real estate in the 80s (and I audited one of the biggest S&L failures and several real estate companies), you know Whitewater was a bribe. It just didn't pay off, like a lot of real estate deals about 8 years ago (and mid-80s as well).
