Seriously though good game Bulls. Flat out beat us.

I'm a little drunk, but I have never seen our defense give up that many big plays. 07 is such a positive year because we broke the ND streak so I might have forgot some things ?

No need to spend so much time on Google. Let's just focus on the last two years, 45-20, 42-28

Didn't have to Google. Just from memory. Not often a team gives up 60+. Maybe coaches in this conference will get a clue about stopping the triple option now.

Monken is saving the big guns for Morgan State.

Now if I was the coach, Air Force would be whipped.

The game was lost before it started...as Navy seemingly bright HC decided to have Navy play a nickel package (took out LB for extra DB) against the #2 rushing offense in the conf.

Game was basically over before he realized his HUGE mistake.

I'm surprised we won, but not that it was high-scoring. Both of us rushed for well over 300 yards against the other, which IMO was pretty predictable. They have their devilish wishbone scheme, and we had a decided size and speed advantage with regard to our offensive line and running backs compared to their front seven.

Welcome to life in the AAC. You should have seen our travel schedule back in the old Big East, before we added some other southern schools to close the gap. Five years ago, there wasn't another Big East football school within 850 miles of us.

And once October arrived, we were often going from warm weather to cold.

Traveling 1000 miles by plane shouldn't be a big issue for teenagers and young adults. Most AAC teams that play in Annapolis have to do about the same thing, or more. All but ECU, Cincy, Temple and UConn.

Sooooo...there were previous threads mocking first Houston then Memphis fans for breaking out the excuse matrix after Navy beat them: travel, weather, injuries, refs...that was why Shere threw the iswydt...

When you see "but seriously" in a written work, the thing before is probably a joke.

2011 was the only losing season in 13 years. 2007 was the year of no defense overall (yes, even the glorious streak-breaking win over ND).

I'm coming around to preferring the comparison to the bowl game against Arizona State: a good (but not great) Navy team against a team that was just bigger and most importantly FASTER, with an explosive offense and they just blew us out early.

USF players joined the Navy team after the game for the Navy alma mater and then Navy players joined USF's team for USF alma mater.

Pure class, glad to have Navy in our conference

He asked the question. I remember southern miss doing the same thing.

Oh and enough with the navy butt kissing. It's football. They don't want their butts smooched

I enjoy that game after the debacle of the 2012 game.
