She could simply order Abedin to hold a press conference and answer any and every question about the newest batch of e-mails. Let reporters ask Abedin directly: What’s in those e-mails? Did any contain classified material?

Why didn’t you turn that computer over to the FBI during its initial investigation? Did you lie to the FBI about having work-related e-mails on it?

Also, did Weiner have access to classified material? Was the computer ever hacked?

The potential upside is huge. If Abedin can answer “no” to all the key questions about classified material and her own conduct, Clinton could credibly declare Comey’s announcement much ado about nothing.

Yeah, but isn't this new review kind of irrelevant to Hillary in actuality? I haven't dug into it too much, but from the Chicago Tribune, it said that Comey's going into the emails in reference to something else -- the Anthony Weiner case (his ex-wife who he's cheated on works close with Hillary). IF it's just that for informational purposes against something Entirely different (but funny; he allegedly was macking on a 15 year old), then it's political brainwashing to say Hillary's in trouble again.

Since his nomination in May, I've considered Gary Johnson, geopolitical gaffes and all. Seems to have integrity and carries a fiscally conservative, socially liberal, military non-interventionist message that I support. Despite his relative lack of charisma and on-camera clumsiness.

Michigan looked solidly blue anyhow. So why not support the guy.

But if MI suddenly appears to be a battleground following this curiously timed FBI announcement, then I may consider voting for Hillary if polls look tight.

I lean conservative in some areas, but I've come to the determination long ago that Trump is too temperamentally unfit and, quite frankly, downright frightening to hold the highest office of the land.

The timeline: the Bengazi hearings catch wind of some emails, they want to go fishing, out of 60,000 of them the find 3 with a © buried on the second page with none of the classified document marks of a real classified document. Someone has cut and pasted a paragraph in an email.

So they search deep and find some references to the dates of some meetings, stuff that happened in the past, technically info that could have caused some concerns if known prior to the events.

Comey finds no evidence of intent to disclose. Nothing criminal.

Later the wiki leaks stuff. Stolen info by Russian hackers hoping to get a favorable election result, and entirely possible the material has been altered before release. Repeat stolen documents. Criminally stolen.

Now they find a laptop belonging to Antoney Weiner where he did his pervert sexting and no doubt hidden from Uma for obvious reasons. Then try to pin the contents on Uma and thence Hillary by association. And they don't even have a warrant to look at the stuff at this point. Or any knowledge of the laptops actual contents.

No evidence anyone ever penetrated the private server, it was more secure than the Pentagon servers which were hacked.

Complaints over the years Hillaries people destroyed 16 phones by beating them to death with a hammer. They call that destruction of evidence. But it can also be seen as making sure no one could ever disclose classified info. All the experts advise if you recycle a computer, you should remove the hard drive and physically destroy it. That is standard procedure in IT circles.

So at the end of the day the investigating committee makes all of this stuff available to hundreds of people, thereby enabling the very security breach they are complaining about.

Politics.

I'd take my time responding too. He was mac'ing on a minor and that's why they were looking at his computer, and NOW they're looking for something BAD that she wrote amongst his emails?!

Pure speculation that the newly discovered emails were not directly to or from HRC.

FBI agents are saying they have had this batch of emails for weeks.

The speculation is if there's anything relevant at all. They're saying they may be but they haven't read them all yet. Related to Weiners ex wife.

BTW, I don't like our MACtion scheduled on a POTUS election night. Fans and viewers will be scant, and it just a casts a huge distraction over the whole game.

How about them? Lincoln was not using his talents as a retail proprietor as a foundation for the presidency. Neither was Reagan touting his acting skills as qualifications for being president. On the other hand, Trump is marketing his alleged skills as a negotiator and entrepreneur as essential to his presidential qualifications.

On the other hand you have a 30 year career politician whose actual accomplishments are pretty limited to helping to get 911 funding to NYC.Her stint as SOS was not so great. Michael Moore acknowledges what the system has done to the Rust Belt but then thinks that HRC is the solution. I don't believe what HRC proposes can improve the lot of the average American. Read JFK's inauguration speech and see if it is more in linewith DJT's ideas or HRC's. The Communist Party USA is backing HRC, because her agenda is more in line with theirs. You can easily check their website to verify this.
