Has anyone seen billboards for WMU saying "Undefeated" ?

An MSU student mentioned last night he saw one in East Lansing. Couldn't tell me much more.

Any insight, anyone?

Saw it on the electronic billboard on north bound 131 between 94 and Stadium.

Guessing this was a fan, not the school. I'm not a fan of it until the season is done.

I haven't seen it on billboards, but I have seen the "This is Bronco County" image that they had on there previously.

WMU has not won anything, yet, besides the Michigan MAC trophy and the Cannon Trophy. Want to celebrate those with billboards, fine, but "Undefeated" with critical and difficult games remaining in November?!

Games are won in 3 places. On the field, the message board, and on billboards. Why not let the coaching staff worry about keeping the team focused and let the marketing people try and take advantage of a historic season.

Four. Concession lines for cash paying customers.

It IS kind of a fact, I'm impressed that they're seizing on this real time. They're not stating anything other than we're undefeated, not future records, bowl bids, championships, anything. Just the moment.

I am all for WMU marketing playing up the season. Fill the all the seats in the boat.

For YEARS many of you complained about not enough marketing from WMU. Now without a local Kalamazoo newspaper WMU has to get the news out somehow.

Saw an "undefeated" billboard on the north end of town today. I think it is great that the school is actively promoting the success.

Lots of people are talkinh about WMU. Most of my UM and State friends like to talk to me about WMU and how good they are doing. Im loving it!

Still majority of them aren't given WMU enough credit. I mentioned the possibility of the NY6 bowl and got laughed at. Also mentioned there is a SLIGHT (like .01%) chance that they could make the playoff if a lot of pieces fell into place (a lot of 2 loss teams) and got thrown out of the bar.

With the schedule UM has played all maize and blue would be thrown out of the bar.
