Many players see coaches as father figures.

Really have zero issues with why or how Fuente left. And agree above, that the Houston loss last year hardly had anything to do with him. Careless turnovers and a missed field goal. He took the Tech job, but coached the hell out of our kids in his last game, and was respectful all the way.

We need to play them home and home. And yes, kick his ass.

I doubt Fuente prepared any differently for any of the games...I think his preparation was the same for the games we lost as the games we won.

Do I think the kids were affected by the fact that they felt their coach was deserting them...Without a doubt. But I am sure Fuente did everything he could to prepare his team but once that trust is broken it is tough to repair.
