They do show replays... Watched it many times tonight...

They are few and far between.

Is it against NCAA rules to show replays in the stadium of plays under review?

I fully agree that WMU does not show near enough replays. Should have them on EVERY scoring play, at least. I would like them on every play, but understand with fast-paced, no-huddle, offenses, that can be difficult, if not impossible.

EMA is great. And the owner used to run my favorite 90's hangout...Damon's on Westnedge and Whites. He sent me a sympathy card when my father-in-law died tragically on my 25th birthday. I will ALWAYS support EMA.

Couldn't agree more... and my game assessment post makes mention... Why can't we see replay's of the play's under review!!!!? Takes away from the momentum of the crowd... The replay would likely illicit a number of... "Oooooh!"... and "Bull $h1t" mockery from the student section! Keeping them from remembering that their booze buzzes were wearing off!

Also, why are they not selling WMU merchandise at the top of the stadium on either side of the press box -- I thought they used to do this??? You are getting near sell out crowds and your making alumni/fans walk to the endzone to buy something?

I thought this was a huge miss too... Couple of the peeps with me wanted to buy a couple hats... and they balked at having to walk all the way down to the endzone...

Same here. I was going to buy something for my wife when I discovered I had to walk all the way down to the field. I decided against it.

Im sure the selection at the stadium would be pretty poor. Get all my stuff from the spirit shop! Best place IMO

I'd settle for out of town scores. WMU has to be the only D1 program that doesn't at least promote it's own league. Illini was showing FCS scores on their scoreboard

Same. I don't have any WMU gear anymore. If they had a stand up there I probably would have seen it and bought something. Gonna have to order a sweatshirt or something to wear at the Ball State game to represent.

Eh, majority of people have smart phones these days that can check.

I've seen them on the boards between quarters (and possibly during TOs) in the past - have we stopped doing that?

WMU turned over the bookstore operations including apparel business
to an outside vendor THREE years ago. I suspect the New company probably has to pay for selling space at games.
Universities have tuff time competing with online retailers.

Going all the way back to the title of this thread..... A small point but the scoreboards were no where near $5M in cost.

Now he will be scratching his head, and using the internet to try and figure it out. Good idea to give him something that will occupy his time for a while.

Uhhh no, I didn't catch it, and it wasn't "new". I'd be embarrassed to reference that song/group. Only toolbags reference Durst and think it's cool.
Again, I should have known.....
