The EMU one would trump ours if they got to 9 wins, I forgot about Miami.
That's because it got repeated around here so often that you all took that as a fact.
Theirs was with second year coach Haywood. He didn't coach in their bowl game that year, btw. Pitt hired him and we all know that story.
Well, the thing is facts are not any fun unless you make them up. Ask the Donald .
This group reminds me of his campaign quite often. Right down to the paid web trolls.
Paid web trolls? Sounds like a ridiculous conspiracy theory...
Nah, his mentor did the same at Rutgers and in Tampa Bay he was even more extreme while a certain horndog position coach was observing and taking it all in.

I'm rewatching this game right now, and I gotta hand it to EMU. They played their hearts out and gave us a great game. What an effort. Good football game all around, except for maybe the seemingly endless media timeouts.

I thought their o-line was the best we've seen so far. Their tackles dominated in pass protection. If they had the talent to match their toughness, they would be incredible. Creighton is doing great things for Eastern.
When was the last time WMU, EMU, and CMU all had winning records? This is great for the MAC, and the Michigan MAC trophy.

EMU is making progress. Ran across some cool EMU fans at the tailgate. They are sensing good progress but one guy said, we just don't have enough talent yet to keep up. They expected a good game but didn't expect to win. He actually invited me to come to the next game over there, hoping to see some interest in Ypsilanti.
