Per Tom Schad:
Senior defensive lineman Michael Edwards has decided to retire from football as he continues to deal with a family issue, per Mike Norvell.

Sorry to hear Mike has decided to leave the team. Leaves Freshman Wilson as lone DT? Will Brady be moved from DE to DT or will Gentry's PT increase?

Still have Wilson, Pennington, Gentry, Crosby...Brady could also move inside. Maybe take the redshirt off Tate?

Yes I was thinking they might take Tate's redshirt off. Cortez Crosby hasn't played this season, not sure why.

It probably has to be something serious for him to walk away in mid-season like that. Wish him all the luck and hope everything turns out ok.

Exactly. We can't get the auto-bid, most likely can't win the conference, let's just get bowl -eligible and keep our power dry for the years to come.
