and part of that has to be because they anticipate the huge pay increase percentage wise that will come if PJ goes for the big time offer. My question is this: Fleck has said they are doing the same thing on offense and defense as they did when they won one game. Now of course, you have better players. Can they go to a big conference and win with equal players? How do you go to the Big 10 and out recruit Michigan or Ohio State or Wisconsin? You might get close or be equal. Here of course, they have a situation where they can win with better recruiting. If the assistant coaches can get the big bump somehow, maybe that would keep him here.

Then again, Eastern could win today.

Sounds like additional funding might be from a source outside of his jurisdiction.

Interesting stuff, the big programs have to deal with routinely but we are not used to these scenarios are we? We are more used to a gradual decline into mediocrity, then coach gets fired. A refreshing change in a way, yes?

The big delta is the resources.
