Making the trip to watch the game. Trying to order tix from the UH website and see they are priced at $40 each. Looking at the Memphis ticket site, I see two whole sections (123 and 124) marked as unavailable.

I figure those are the UH sections you've allotted us, but dang, all the seats in the surrounding sections are going for only $15 each on your site. On top of that, the link to buy Memphis tix on the UH website doesn't even seem to work and I want to secure tix now, but before I decide to just buy from your site, I want to make sure I'm going to be sitting close to the UH section just so you know, I don't get beat on the head by Memphis fans pelting me with "He gone!" ha!

Is sections 123 and 124 the usual away team allotment?

I think 123 and 124 is for the band and students. That's why it is marked unavailable.

Buy tickets wherever and sit in the UH section.

I've sat on almost every section in that stadium over the 51 years that stadium has been open and I can't recall a single conference foe not named Louisville that has sold out their sections.

Yes, beer is sold at multiple locations on the concourse within the stadium. I hadn't thought about it, but I don't recall walking vendors with beer. Someone can correct me on that.

walking vendors will bring you beers. $8:00 ea.

Beer stations are everywhere & some drink carts are scattered around along with an open to the public bar on the west concourse (the press box side). There are beer stations on tiger lane if you don't bring enough with you. Open carry is allowed just don't act a fool or you will get collared. They run hot dog and beer specials for the first hour or so after the stadium gates open if you are one who likes to watch warm ups
