If HC D.J. Durkin can hold on to his top 20 2017 recruiting class, then I expect competitive football in College Park after the majority of Randy Edsall's recruits cycle out of the program in a couple of years

Loved that walk through. It will be a beautiful place. SVP narrating was a nice touch. Also liked the entrepreneurial and medical aspects of this. Really cool.

What surprised me was the enthusiasm expressed by school president Wallace Loh. I don't think Maryland hasn't had a pro-football school president in more than 60 years, when the former football coach, Curley Byrd, ran the school.

Looks great and good to see a nice repurpose for Cole Fieldhouse...so many schools have torn down such buildings.

It does look good, but still a little concerned about the $49 Million that needs to be raised. Loh said he isn't concerned about it but dang. $49 Million is a lot to raise when you have gone around to many of the big donors already.

I was hoping the Cole Field House would one day become the home rink of the Maryland ice hockey team and that the team would compete in the Big Ten. But if the new football facility revitalizes the football program, then I'm all in.

I think big donors are somewhat skeptical that the administration is earnest in its support of Maryland football. They remember when both Wilson Elkins and John Slaughter pulled the plug on Maryland football.

Very nice. Looks like it will be a beautiful facility. Last year, took my daughter, who was a senior in high school, to visit College Park multiple times. While she decided to choose another school, we enjoyed our visits and if it were me, I would have attended.

Maryland's not for everyone. My cousin, also from NJ, spent one semester in College Park before transferring to Rutgers-New Brunswick. She was homesick and wanted to spend her college years with some of her HS friends.

We're playing against each other tonight in College Park. It feels like Michigan weather out there today. Your guys are going to love it.
