but... but... he didn't curse or drink soda...

He only screamed constantly and threw stuff in practice

What kind of stuff? Hard or soft. I like to think in pictures.

He turned over the cooler of orange slices.

Dang.

....how very little brother-y of him.

But not the juice boxes?

Juice boxes weren't allowed, but he would open water bottles and dump on his head to fire the guys up.

The only way you could dump on your head would be if you had your . . . well, that confirms something I always suspected.

I did not see your black bears in the top 82 at all, I must have missed them

Ouch. Yet they give their coach a raise. Low expectations.

Man, lots of Ole Miss talk in a Tiger basketball thread...

I'm a die hard Tiger basketball fan. Instead of focusing on how the Tigers are at least ahead of Ole Miss hoops (which feels very "little brother-y"), I chose to focus on why we are behind Monmouth and other mid-majors...

But keep obsessing.

Hard to take you serious, dude. What with the Old Miss posts and images and stuff.

82 is about right. Right on the verge of making the NIT. That's about what I expect this year.

University of Memphis sophomore Dedric Lawson has been named the American Athletic Conference Preseason Co-Player of the Year, as the Tigers were picked to finish fifth in the preseason coaches' poll.

Lawson was recently named to the watch list for the 2017 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year. He earned 2015-16 American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year honors after averaging 15.8 points per game and leading the conference with a 9.3 rebound per game average. He was named to the Kyle Macy Freshman All-America Team, and Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Lawson's 17 double-doubles last season tied a Memphis freshman record that he now shares with Keith Lee, and was 19th best in all of NCAA Division I. His 307 rebounds last season are the third-most by a freshman in program history, and his 9.3 rebound per game average ranks fourth in school history for a freshman. He was the only freshman in the country last season with at least 500 points, 300 rebounds, 60 assists, 50 blocked shots, and 20 three-pointers made.

Say, what?! You got me confused, man. That's even worse than Bluta's accusation of me being from Canada.

You need to look at at large teams from last year. Different format with auto qualifiers. Not sure 82 would get us in everything else being equal.
