#84 quickly moving up the all-time receiving list.
With 63 receiving yards against Akron, Corey went from 7th to 6th (4430) on the all time list. A very attainable 112 yards against Eastern would put him 3rd on the list. Just behind #2, Ryan Broyles (4586) and #1, Trevor Insley (5005).
The increasing productivity of Carrington Thompson and Michael Henry as well as the pounding running attack may free Davis up late in the season to make a run at #1. This is must see football from all aspects, dynamic offense, fast and unrelenting defense, and threats to break the big one on special teams. Really hoping that Corey can finish his career at the top.

87 yards today moves Corey up to 5th all time at 4517 yards. Tonight he passed Houston Cougar and Former Lion Patrick Edwards. 1 yd short of tying for 4th

After last night stands 2nd with 4789 yds. Now 216 yds from#1 Trevor Insley's record @5005yds with Kent St, Buffalo, Toledo, possible MAC championship and bowl game left.

Though the Cardinals' defense forced four punts in the first half and gave up just 21 points, wide receiver Davis was too much. Twice he scored on the opening play of drives, picking up 12 of the Broncos' 52 points in about 20 seconds. Surely, some of the four NFL scouts in the press box were there to watch the record-breaking wide receiver. And he certainly delivered.

Great night. His best catch was incomplete out of bounds toward me in section M in the 4th. Saw him hanging his shoulder after that. Congrats on this huge milestone. Can't wait til the game at Ford Field
