yea. JJ likes everybody even if they make booze in their bathtub.
Was that a comic book kit you could order or something? Kinda like seamonkeys, I bet.
O yea back on track -- Navy ! Don't let's get talked into worshiping them like last year.
If we can figure out the triple option of Tulane, Or defense can handle Navy. We cannot fall behind and expect to get the ball back with enough time to win it.
Agree on the danger of falling behind to a ball control team like navy. Unrelated, I seem to remember navy being penalized like once for the whole game. Very disciplined.

There's certainly truth there. They absolutely sealed the corners with both hands a few times. But they also didn't make a lot of mistakes, offsides, personal fouls, etc.

I think our D will play well against Navy, especially if LB White is back. My concern is the offense executing. I do not anyiclay any turnovers by Navy. We go several vs Tulane 's option and on special teams. I don't see that vs the Mids.

Find a way to win and Tigers could potentially run the table the rest of the way. Which would put AAC Title game at LBS

RE: How big is Navy Game
Just win 2 or 3 more games so we go to 3rd consecutive BOWL game
We lost the best coach and QB we've ever had
A 6-6 or 7-5 season plus a bowl game would be amazing
Don't set yourself up with the idea of us running the table etc
I was at the Tulane game and we are a good team. Not a championship team so my opinion is to step back and really look how the odds were stacked against us going into Norvells first season
We are doing great and I'm just super happy to be 5-1 with a chance to have another winning season
If miraculous things happen then that's great. I just hate watching our fans get over excited and expect unrealistic expectations
Another bowl game would be a spectacular first season for our staff an young players

That would be quite a late season collapse.

Only winning 1 of our remaining 6 games would be a huge disappointment and let down. 3-3 is probably the more realistic (+/- a game either way).

I'm not giving up on winning the next game, each week. I'll live through it if we don't but I have high hopes we can win out - and we can. We aren't close yet to playing our best & very pleased with the team & staff. GO TIGERS!!!

RE: How big is Navy Game
Dan thinks we're are going to do well; from USA Today's sposrts:
Dan Wolken
Memphis will take control of a very interesting race in the AAC West with a victory at Navy, which shocked college football two weeks ago by beating Houston. The Tigers rank 39th nationally against the run and have played good defense all season including last week against Tulane, which runs an option-type offense.
The Tigers have a lot of skilled offensive talent and have as much or more speed on the perimeter than Houston, which gave Navy fits. I think Memphis will score a lot of points in this game and pull a quasi-upset on the road.

RE: How big is Navy Game
Tough game, but I like the Tigers in this game. I don't see them running the table, but I'd be shocked by a 6-6 or even 7-5 record. That would be a huge disappointment.
