He's not ready to play per Tubby. Coming off an injury and way out of shape.

I think he is going to redshirt anyway. He is way behind

RE: Memphis Question...
Tubby isn't going fill a roster for the sake of filling either. 17 & 18 are crucial classes

Calipari often ran rosters with 10 or 11 scholarship players. One of ours this year is actually a walkon.

He pretty much runs it at Kentucky as well. Those last 3 guys don't really play

That's fine when you're reloaded with the top talent every season. Memphis isn't right there yet.

Tubby is recruiting for 17,18, and 19 now. We already have 3 players locked in for 17 that will start a good foundation. There is no need to fill your roster to 13 players if they can't all contribute to begin with. He can get by with 11 players and the 3-4 walkons he will be adding

Meh. We have several capable walk-ons. One of them, my daughter graduated high school with. He's a senior, and got a scholly out of high school to a lower-level school in Indiana or Ohio or something. He's back in town for his final year of college, and he's a pretty good athlete.

Nick King (local kid), Duran Iverson, Pookie Powell, Austin Nichols (local kid), all highly recruited players, plus others would have made a huge difference if not transferring to other schools. Thanks Josh for f'ing up a once proud program and running off some top notch players due to your inability to coach and your kindergarten disciplinary actions. Glad you're now Georgia Techs problem.

RE: Memphis Question...
Tubby is going to put Memphis back in the polls & back in the NCAA tournament on a regular basis. He's still my favorite Tulsa coach. Memphis fans should be excited about the next 5 years of Memphis basketball.
