People that voted to nominate Trump...
Have any of you yet come to the realization that you have made a big mistake and have basically allowed a very vulnerable and not well-liked democrat party candidate to take the white house without much effort?

Not only is Trump going to fail to beat Hillary but the GOP establishment is going to score a big win after Trump gets curb stomped in a few weeks.

Whether you thought Trump was the only way to beat Hillary or a means blow up the GOP, you failed.

Thanks a lot, guys. 03-banghead

I'm surprised that many on this forum who support him have doubled down. After this weekend, I was sure someone would announce that they could no longer support him.

I was wrong.

You really think the hoards of 3rd world immigrants (legal or illegal) would be voting for Cruz or Rubio or Jeb or Kasich? No. The system is rigged for the Democrats. Only way to beat them is to smash them and rally real Americans which Trump is doing.

You're as stubborn as us Fit. When you realize that Killary (and her hubby) are scumbags as much as Trump then maybe I'll change my vote. But, please, please, hold your breath.

Yea, the Dems that voted to nominate Hillary just did the nation a great favor. I mean she is perfect after all. Please, Hillary is as bad as it gets. Yes, worse than Trump.

Rally real Americans?

So in your world, legal immigrants aren't real Americans?

RE: People that voted to nominate Trump...
I voted for Trump in the primaries, thinking that he would be a real change agent who would make a pivot in the general. I thought he would have taken running for office seriously; however, that has not been the case based on what I saw. My issues with Trump are due to 1) He's not been preparing effectively, which tells me that he's not serious about winning and 2) His ego has become detrimental to him where he will personally attack people who disagree with him for an extended period of time. To his credit he has a much more detailed page where he addresses the issues. However, I don't believe that he'll follow thru on it based on how he's been behaving in the general.

The Republican Party deserves everything it has gotten.

If they didn't want this to happen they should not have conspired to rig up the primaries for a dynastic candidate from a dynasty that their rank and file wanted no part of.

Good on you for having the stones to say that. I think many people feel the same way and don't have the guts to admit it.

I can respect that, though I don't agree with it. I had some hope that he had some shrewd strategy for the general election though I was very doubtful.

This is why keeping the Senate is imperative. No doubt the House will stay comfortably in Republican hands, but even a 50-50 split in the Senate loses since the Veep is the swing vote.

If the Dims get a split, or even a simple majority, watch Chuckie Schumer go back on the Dims promise and make SCOTUS nominations immune from the filibuster.

Hillary was unprepared last night. She had no answers for the prosecution. None. Even the policy answers were just old, stale retreads.

Trump is the only reason Hillary has a shot to win. If he dropped out, she loses in a landslide.

RE: People that voted to nominate Trump...
miko,

This is honest to goodness what Trump's mindset is: "If I don't win, who cares? I'm the best anyway. But if I do win? It'll be a real hoot! And then I'll make yuuuuuge money on my bigly right wing news outlet with my buddy Roger Ailes. Then we'll grab some p___y together."

He was never serious about being the nominee. And he's not serious about winning.

When both parties are liars and elitist scumbags who think they have Right to Rule, what the hell do I care which of them is in charge?

Hilary is a criminal
Trump is a buffoon.

Point, Trump.

The republican party for years has been told not to nominate a stiff with no celebrity appeal that is beholden to the religious right preaching God, gays, guns, moral compass, and family values. Donald Trump is exactly what America has been asking for.
