We need to win next two games vs UConn and Temple to be ranked heading into hosting Navy. Could be a battle of two Top 25 AAC schools

Possibly 3 AAC teams in next week (if all win).

Hmmm... I'm not sure if Tulsa's going to jump in after we beat UH. It might take one more week.

With Houston, Navy rank and USF soon to join, I think this is a sign the AAC it's gaining respect around the country.

That would be awesome for Memphis to knock off ranked Navy one week and a ranked Tulsa the next.

Very definitely. We had 3 teams in the top 25 for several weeks last year too. Some other G5 conferences get a team, but I havent seen any with 3... especially in multiple years.
If you look at the MAC, they renegotiated early and ended up with a substantial increase based off of having 1 team in the top 25 consistently.
I can see the consistent rankings, multiple large bowl wins and one bball National championship getting us a fairly large increase. Now, considering that our contract really sucks, a massive increase of 300% would still only be $6 million... but I think its doable.

Some good opportunity for Navy and USF to move up this week.
USF is obviuosly favored to win at home vs UCONN...and Navy is off this week so no "loss" for them.
#13 Ole Miss is at #22 Arkansas...and loser has a good chance to fall out of Top 25 (Ole Miss would have 3 losses...so I think they would drop like a rock too).
LSU hosts USM...but LSU has looked nothing like world beaters...so maybe even a close win drops them at least 1 spot and out of Top 25.
OU hosts Kansas State.
Utah "should" win easily at Oregon State.
Arizona State has a tough road game now at Colorado.
Winning games certainly helps your case...but it is fun to see what teams ahead of you are playing and the chance that they could lose their next game.

The AAC has done everything in their power on the field to prove they are a true "tweener" league. Even teams towards the bottom of the league like ECU and Cincy have wins over P5 teams. You got 1 team ranked in both polls, 1 ranked in 1 poll, and 3 others receiving votes. The only "problem" for the league right now is Boise probably is in the drivers seat for the access bowl, but there's a lot of season left.

Good points on both.
Here's Boise's remaining schedule:
COLORADO STATE
BYU
at Wyoming
SAN JOSE STATE
at Hawaii
UNLV
at Air Force
MWC Championship Game (top team hosts this game)
Only challenging games on paper are vs BYU and at Air Force.
The "other" division in MWC is lead by...(don't laugh) Hawaii (2-0)...which means the MWC Championship Game will probably be a joke.

The viewership interest for this league has climbed impressively. If Mike Aresco is able to move quickly before any current member leaves I think we will see a pretty nice bump $$$ before it goes out to the open market.
