Good win for the Huskies.

I'm honestly perplexed with Cincinnati. 3-3 and winless in AAC. What the hell is wrong up there? I personally see UC imploding here. Bye week coming up, time to circle the wagons. Remaining schedule is not forgiving: ECU, at Temple, BYU, at UCF, MEMPHIS, at Tulsa.

I really hope Gunner gets some actual playing time this season. Kind of crazy he hasn't been used. Isn't he close to some records?

I don't think Jerry meant any offense. UC played a terrible game. UConn defended their turf.

Yeah... I'm sorry. I'm a little tetchy right now and I know Hank didn't mean any ill.

UConn really did earn it today. I really mean that. You all played a much better game than UC did. The fact that I am unhappy with UC and our coaches really takes nothing away from UConn. Hence why I was the first one to say, "Congrats, UConn."

I admit it: when UC hired Tuberville I thought it was a great move, and that UC would be a dominant force in this league under his leadership.

And I suppose it's still possible that might happen. But it sure hasn't, so far. 03-no

Uconn just needed an old big east team to make them feel better. Lol

Congrats Huskies. The better team and better coach won today. Good luck the rest of the way.

i disagree.. you are right the players made some big mistakes..

but lets say they didnt make those mistakes ..they barely beat uconn...

cincy was a regualr top 25 team before tubbs ...barely beating an average uconn shouldnt be their standard..tubbs has defintely lowered the standard at cincy

I think you not given UConn's defense any credit... There pretty ligit that plus they know how muster that clock when they want to.

This is Tubbs 21st team. Only two of his teams have managed to win 10 games in a season. Cincinnati's 28-17 record with him at the helm is not too surprising, imo.

UConn, ya know, beat Cincy a few times in the earlier era as well, so...

Both programs are going backwards from where they were.

Essentially, Brian Kelly was our Tom Herman. If Herman leaves Houston for Texas or LSU and craps the bed, I suspect Houston fans would feel the same way.
