Homecoming Week
The forecast is a week out but no rain and 60 at kickoff sounds very acceptable for early October. Is this the week that SW Michigan finally gets behind the Broncos? I don't know what more this team needs to do to get peoples attention. Anything under 30,000 will be a disappointment. Any word on ticket sales?

We are!

Quite glad our group of friends bought a block of tickets a while back, too... because there's zero reason we shouldn't be close to a sellout. (Results may vary, of course).

You literally can't find a hotel in Kalamazoo next weekend though, so that's a good sign.

RE: Homecoming Week
Would be pleasantly surprised to see 30k or more. Would guess more like 26k with good weather.

RE: Homecoming Week
I just bought my tickets. I am pretty stoked. We better break this streak against NIU. Hoping to be able to watch the Army v Duke game at Roadhouse before our game. It is on the ACC network. Anyone know if Roadhouse will be able to get it?

I might just grab end zone seats for this one. Spread will probably open pretty wide on this one. Haven't beaten NIU since I was a student, so I don't think I'll be able to stay away for this one.

RE: Homecoming Week
Yeah wifey and I are renewing vows at homecoming as well. Will be a full day. At the bookstore you get a percentage off based on how many years since your graduation. Wife was 1969 so 47% off on whatever we buy.

We are number 707 for the marriage renewal. I think they need 1069 to break the Guiness record for mass renewals. It is our 50th this year.

Others have said the night game scenario cuts into attendence for those living more than 45 minutes-1 hour away. I think that may be correct.

RE: Homecoming Week
My group of 10 will be there and I get to do the wedding vow renewal with my wife first. According to the Alumni Office as of Thursday they had enough couples to break the record signed up. Homecoming festivities include Gary Fund and Alumni tailgating on old East Campus near the Alumni Center and wedding renewal area. Should be packed in that area. Hope the weather holds and we have a full stadium!! If anyone is on the fence about coming to the game, please do so! This team deserves the support!!

I didn't see the bookstore deal anywhere. What do I need to bring with me as proof as to when I graduated, if anything? If I have an alumni card, I don't know where it is.

Just a driver license. They have a data base of graduates. Pretty cool deal, if you buy a pricey jacket or something you get a real deal.
