Quote:Anyone else watching this? I'm on the west coast so it's still mid-evening here.
Would really like to see the Rockets pull this out, and although trailing currently they look like they can definitely hang on both sides of the ball.
Still have dreams of two unbeaten teams meeting at Waldo on Black Friday...
Watched it all. Tough loss. I, too was dreaming of the best possible scenario for the MAC and it would be two unbeaten ranked teams meeting to decide the west. That game reminded me of the wild loss at Toledo. What was it - 66 - 63? Crazy game. Last one with the ball wins.

Though I thought that they looked good, especially their passing game, the Broncos can and will run on them. The stud BYU RB reminded me of JF as a freshman. Bogan can run on that defense.
Zach is a better and more efficient QB than the Rockets have faced yet.Although their dbs showed that they can run with the receivers, I saw little ability to cover or break up passes. They were good at making the tackle after the catch, though. And they weren't defending Cory Davis, not to mention Henry, Thompson or Roberts.
My concern is where will our secondary be by the time that game is played. Not concerned about our lines. For the first time in a while, we have better line play on both sides of the ball. As long as they are raising their best.....
Based on an admittedly small sample size, IMO the Rockets are at a disadvantage in a matchup with the Broncos. WMU is the more disciplined team and controls the ball by not taking many penalties or turning the ball over. We'll see what transpires over the next 7 weeks.
It sure gives us something to look forward to.
