It wasn't just the corner section (115?) with the band and players' families.

There was a ton of navy throughout that sideline.

I was there and Navy DID NOT have anywhere near 8-10 thousand fans in attendance. MAYBE 1.5 -2k. Where do you come up with your numbers?

Ole Miss brought the most visitor fans to the Liberty Bowl and likely had less than 10K. Navy fans took up less than 2 sections meaning less than 5K.

And we were still undefeated, and even being mentioned as a playoff candidate. As I have said before, the fans over the 40,000 mark will only support the Tigers when we are something the SEC homers in the office cubical next to you can not criticize and be-little.

Probably easier to see the Navy crowd, which was good, from the opposite side. to have 10K Navy would have had to fill sections 113, 114, 115, 116 & 117 to come close to 10K. Navy had sections 115 pretty full and parts of the others noted, something less than 5K with the rest Memphis fans.
