James Franklin showed coaches and the Vandy administration that you can win at Vandy.

I have followed Franklin somewhat since he went to Penn State in Big Ten Country (not closely because I have never liked Penn State).

Having seen his PSU teams play on TV against U-M and MSU, I believe if HE can win nine games twice at Vandy - even though Vandy is basically Northwestern in a tougher Football conference - a lot of guys could, except apparently Derrick Mason.

He'll listen to offers. It's a business. If you can't stay fresh in college football (see Alabama's offense), you'll be out of a job (see LSU's offense). Coaches even move around to keep themselves fresh. (Harbaugh, Meyer). The last long term coaches we'll probably see is Ferentz and maybe Stoops.
