Oh I'm sure this game will be a real exciting one. Is it just me or has your new coach made Tulane boring?

ASN produces the games, NESN National is carry the game along with some other ASN partners. From another post.

Left the game feeling optimistic about our future. Scoring in the second half and being with in 5 points near the end felt good. Yes Ford did turn it over and they got the last TD. This team is battle and fighting to the end.

week 1: Florida 24 - 7: P5 L
week 2: Boston College 26 - 7: P5 L
week 3: Florida Int'l 13 - 21: G5 W
week 4: Miss State 47 - 35: P5 L

Know the record does not look like we are improving, but we are hanging tough. Playing mostly P5 teams in our 5th year FBS is a tough row to hoe. We need more wins than losses to start bring in new fans. Expected 3 wins this season, but 4-5 is possible, not probable. So, hoping for 4 wins. Two at McGuirk would be great. Tulane just won and they're coming to town.

Coach Whipple Post game.

I only know UMass by their 1-3 record, but Tulane should dispatch them pretty easily and get to 3-2.

You guys travel well. We will not gain new fans till we start having a winning record. The shine wears off quickly at Gillette. First UMass vs UNH was over 32.8 k second a lot less the second time. First Boston College game 30.8 k, second game 25 k. Games belong on campus. People up here will follow local teams as noted above. The 25k is this year and we out drew BC by a big margin. Most people are indifferent to SEC teams. Michigan and Notre Dame are teams people like around here.

Having us carried on most TVs means we'll take a hit in the short term in attendance as people watch. It will pay off in the long term and think it was the correct strategy. Build the brand name.

Matchup Predictor is 56.3% you guys will win. Spread is only 2.5.

The first two games of the year we started Comis at QB and scored 14 points between them (7 against Florida and then 7 against BC). Past two games we started Ford at QB and scored 21 (FIU) for a win and then 35 (Miss St) for a loss.

You guys might end up coming away with the W here, but it won't likely end up being as easy as you think right now.

This is true.

Against FBS Tulane is 1-2, with a combined total of 13 points separating all three games.

On the other hand, Tulane might be 2-2, there are literally only 2 plays separating us 4-0. And our two losses are to teams that are a combined 7-0.
