ASN produces the games, NESN National is carry the game along with some other ASN partners. From another post.
Left the game feeling optimistic about our future. Scoring in the second half and being with in 5 points near the end felt good. Yes Ford did turn it over and they got the last TD. This team is battle and fighting to the end.
week 1: Florida 24 - 7: P5 L
week 2: Boston College 26 - 7: P5 L
week 3: Florida Int'l 13 - 21: G5 W
week 4: Miss State 47 - 35: P5 L
Know the record does not look like we are improving, but we are hanging tough. Playing mostly P5 teams in our 5th year FBS is a tough row to hoe. We need more wins than losses to start bring in new fans. Expected 3 wins this season, but 4-5 is possible, not probable. So, hoping for 4 wins. Two at McGuirk would be great. Tulane just won and they're coming to town.
Coach Whipple Post game.
UMass scared the shinola out of Temple fans last year. Their coach gets the most out of his players, and they play hard. This could be a fun game to watch.

Umass is going to the B12?
This is a big game for both of you?
We're not afraid of anybody. We've already played three Power 5 teams and are finally respectable in our 5th year of FBS.
UMass is definitely respectable this year. While they would still get smoked by the top half of the "Power 5", they are looking like they could hang with AAC and MWC level teams this year.

UMass will beat Tulane this week. Mark it down.
Maybe, but Miss St pretty much stinks. It is their homecoming.

Was hoping for a sell-out but with rain in the forecast from Friday through Monday, don't think there will be a large walk up crowd. Stadium looks 80% full.

The long term plan is not to be independent. It does make sense to have a long term relationship beyond the four game series as we are relatively so close. Heard West Point is beautiful and plan on visiting Nov 9, 2019 weekend.

I was at the game in 2005. It was a very fun atmosphere - I was even able to see the Cadet Review/Parade in the morning before hand.

A good buddy of mine is a UMASS fan, so I am somewhat as well.
Would UMASS accept an all-sports invite to CUSA if to comes, or would they politely decline like the did regarding the MAC's invite?

We have a strong first preference, and a football only second preference.
It would be a difficult decision. Our AD did said, (This is second hand.) if he was AD at the MAC ultimatum, the answer may not have been no.
There will be a stadium expansion but the conference affiliation will determine it's scope. Think the bond issue would piggyback on the 2.5 Billion of system wide capital spending, which follows a 1.9 billion spend in the past five years.
