Week 5: Rivalry Week! Western at Central!
Finally the week everyone has been waiting for. 4-0 Western Michigan travels to Mt. P to take on 3-1 Central Michigan. The Chips took it on the chin Saturday at Virginia. Could that add a little extra motivation for them to take it to the Broncos? Will they be able to spoil an already special season happening in Kalamazoo? Will the Broncos continue their recent dominance over the Chips? Will the Broncos be able to grab the inside track to the annual Michigan MAC Championship trophy and will the Broncos retain the cannon trophy?

All these questions and more will be answered in a few short days.

Let's go Broncos!

Is this game really on CBS SN? What a disgrace.

This is a gut punch for sure... Especially noting that its a night game...

WE are competing with Baseball on ESPN2 and Stanford/Washington on ESPN... I wouldn't be surprised if some local channel ... WXMI, WWMT picks up the broadcast... my guess is the local CBS affiliate...

Why is it a disgrace? Am I missing an inside joke here? I think CBS SN does a fantastic job with its college football game broadcasts.

Its more related to availability of that network on basic cable lineups.... I think its a Sports package only type channel... on Charter at least. Requires an upgrade in service.

I have one of the advanced Charter packages and I still don't get CBSSN. That's why it's a disgrace.

Its part of the "Silver" package on Charter.

I thought that's what I had. Perhaps I'm mistaken.

Edit: You're right, it does show it under the Silver package. Hmmm. But it's telling me I don't get that channel. Charter messing things up again? I wouldn't be surprised.

I think you all should just come to the game. I'll be there, which should be draw enough, but then there is that old WMU/CMU rivalry, which we will call icing on the cake.

Time to get customer service involved! Wouldn't put it past charter to be charging you for Silver and not actually upgrading your programming.... Those sneaky bastards are always up to something!

I have the silver package, and I get it. Cable is such a monopoly rip off these days. I would change to a dish network, except that the internet is so much faster with cable. ...but I digress.

My absence is in the best interest of the team. It was the 2000 season. I went to the game if full WMU regalia....a block "W" flag for a cape, a hard-hat with bull horns on it...the works. I actually won the 50/50 at halftime...$2244.00...way better than any trip to the casino. I won't go there again. I will not be the reason for that groundhog day...

I was there in 2010 when we fumbled on the goal line. I wouldn't let myself go to to the game in 2012 since I didn't think we had a prayer's chance in Hell of winning, though, I forced myself to go in 2014 when we held them without a rushing yard in the second half. I have to say I was pleasantly (pun intended) surprised.

Go there and pillage then. It's all good there, Rawls got away with it, you can too.

Planning on parking car, then eating at BWW, so I can watch some football, then walking to stadium. Hope weather is good, as wife will complain otherwise. My son never complained about anything, but he abandoned me. This is a HUGE game. Broncos need to represent!!
