Briles to Houston

I hope LSU does hire Herman, but Houston is not going to hire Briles while trying to get into the B12.

I know Louisville and Houston are in different situations but the return and success of Petrino gives hope to guys like Briles. Winning is #1 right now for non P5 members so I would not be shocked to see one of them (if not Houston) go after Briles and give him a second chance... Win and in a few years everybody will forget about his Baylor days.

If Houston hires Briles they can forget about being invited to the B12.

I don't need a link for the obvious. As long as Baylor is still in the B12, Houston aint getting in with Briles as their football coach.

Nobody is interested in listening to them right now because of Briles.

RE: The Orgeron is back
Time will tell.

Briles has already been removed from the lawsuit.

Ken Starr comes out publicly to say Briles was done a grave injustice.

Initial reports have LSU reaching out to Briles.

Seems like B12 and/or Houston would cut of it's nose to spite it's face over Briles.

But nothing new there.

Briles will have a P5 job next year.

Briles MIGHT sniff a G5 HC again.

P5 - never.

If Bobby Petrino was let back in after multiple issues then Briles will definitely get another shot...

They will know their fate with the league before hiring time pops up.

I would not be surprised if they already know their fate. Just a hunch.

I'm not saying it WILL happen, but I could see a scenario where Coach O gets the LSU job.

The carousel could be crazy this year.

It's possible. If any big-time school were to give the idiot a second chance, it would be LSU. I would say UTK or Old Miss would be the idiots, but they already have been in this case.

RE: The Orgeron is back
This week's game vs. UF is huge for Coach O. If he wins, he could very well go into Bama undefeated as the interim. PLay them close and finish the season strong...Jimbo stays at FSU, Herman takes Texas, recruits and current players back O...the narrative of "he's one of us" takes over and he could get that job.

Not likely, but not impossible.
