The Orgeron is back
Everyone will now need to turn on closed captioning on all their TV's to know what Orgeron says during press conferences and interviews.

RE: The Orgeron is back
How the hell will the captioning people figure that out in live TV spots when speed is such a pressing concern for them?

He's like farmer Fran in the water boy. They'll love him.
Problem is, I can understand him...

RE: The Orgeron is back
If LSU misses on Herman and can't stomach Briles, I predict their hire is very ho-hum.

Probably that same Hummer he had when he was at Mississippi. Paychecks got smaller.

I'm guessing Dabo, Herman and Patterson are on the short list.

Briles and Kiffin dark horse candidates?

Doesn't look like Patterson cares for how the LSU Athletics people handled that situation.

Quote:In August, TCU announced a six-year contract extension for Patterson that reportedly puts him past the $5 million a year mark.

Patterson was not asked directly Monday about any interest in the LSU opening, but as part of his answer to the question about Miles, Patterson said, “I feel very fortunate to have the job that I have.”

Miles was dismissed Sunday after LSU dropped to 2-2 following a loss to Auburn when a touchdown on the last play was reversed by replay.

“I think it’s not fair to the university and the players and the program,” Patterson said. “If they were going to do that, they should have done it a year ago. To do it in the middle of the season, I think it’s not fair to anybody. It’s not my place. I’ve got my own problems. So you go about your own business. But I think the guy is a good football coach. He’s won a lot of games. I think he’s been good for LSU. I wish him well. And I wish LSU well.”

It would be a smart move for him like cal

Stupider things have happened.

The dude can coach. B and I tried to convince y'all back in the day.

Can he doe? The bags of cash helped in the recruiting department.

Bailing on ole miss would be a smart move. NCAA is pissed.

Getting good players is the most important aspect of coaching.

I hope LSU does hire Herman, but Houston is not going to hire Briles while trying to get into the B12.

I know Louisville and Houston are in different situations but the return and success of Petrino gives hope to guys like Briles. Winning is #1 right now for non P5 members so I would not be shocked to see one of them (if not Houston) go after Briles and give him a second chance... Win and in a few years everybody will forget about his Baylor days.
