Bogan is a weapon, and we have more quality receivers than CMU. CMU has a pretty good tight end though, and Rush is great at getting him the ball. He has pretty good hands for a big guy. Defenses are pretty close, but i think the jury is still out on both defenses. Home field advantage can be big. CMU will have a big crowd on Saturday. I hope we get a ton of Broncos there. I will be there with my wife. God I hope we win.

Not starting a flame war. I think nearly every CFB expert you ask would say Rush is definitely better than Terrell. But like you said, Terrell is a perfect fit in the system. He has also done it with very little run game, albeit improved this year.

To me, even if CMU was 4-0, I would lean WMU in this game. Why? Fleck has our number and nearly beat us when you guys were garbage in 2013. I think it will be a close game and we have a few pretty big contributors out.

Best of luck and hope for a game with no injuries. You guys could be the real deal this year.

George - Don't know what you were thinking when you state that WMU has had very little run game for Terrell to work with. For the past two years a WMU running back has won FOY. Can't do that without having an effective running game.

RE: Week 5 Rankings
There are a few "real deal" teams in the MAC this year. Toledo may be the best, and it wouldn't shock me if they pulled off an upset of BYU this week. Not predicting necessarily, just saying.... And, as much as it hurts to say, yes, CMU may be the real deal. The chips problem may just be that they don't have as much of multi-dimensional offense; even though they have an excellent offense. Certainly CMU has the ability to win all of their remaining games, even if I don't think they will. Our match-up Saturday is so huge for many reasons.

Could be a three way tie for first in the West. Hope not, but could happen.

Maybe he meant that Terrell isn't known for having wheels himself.

That was poor structure on my part, I meant Rush has done it with basically no run game so teams have been sitting on the pass and he still performs.

No doubt you guys have had beasts at RB like Franklin and Bogan.

Their weakness: A team that can defend the pass naturally very well, while containing the run all at the same time.
Their hope: A team that cannot defend the pass well at all, whose strength is stopping the run. Unfortunately, that's us.

Our hope: In stopping their run, we sack Poop Rush several times as he is prone to it, killing drives that would otherwise march down for consistent TDs & FGs.

I think that PJ has held back some offensive surprises for MAC play. I would not be surprised by thumping the chimps by 21+ points. Look forward to seeing some offensive sets we have not seen all year. Our offensive and defensive lines are way too much for them to compete, plus throwing a few wrinkles on the offensive will destroy them early and often . We have not seen much in the way of our depth players this year. They have all the film on our starters but know nothing of the skill sets waiting in line. Watch them to take a big part of this game. It may be in mop up duty but will only pile it on. 49-17

No need for surprises, we have the best chance to beat them by playing our game.

Exactly, which makes that kind of bargage talk so silly.
