Someone who has been to 5 or 6 games in their lifetime might say something like this.

My thoughts exactly.

I would think last year's SEMO and SMU games would be considered pretty dominating as well.

Quit blaming the world's faults on the kids.

You're right, the student section is the best I've ever seen it, and they are staying longer and longer into the games. I wish we could arrange a second track along Southern for a special student train to connect the stadium to the campus. I think it would be truly unique, and that is what makes Universities famous and desirable. Unique traditions.

I'm proud of the improvements we have made so far as a football team and as fans. The only request i would make is to please stay to the end of the games to celebrate wins with the team. I understand some just have to leave, but we have too many people leaving early, imho.

I wasn't at the last two games due to family reasons. What i'm dealing with right now is so tough for me that i just can't make the games. The others in my group were still there. I was watching online last night, and the team really gave me some joy during a real tough time.

I ask that all of you include my family in your prayers. I'm very strong, but i need more strength and understanding of the purpose and how i move on from it.

I will be back.

tommy

You've got my prayers. Sorry to hear this. Hang in there.

Very simple

You want an increase in attendance by 20,000?

Buy an extra ticket and bring a friend!

You must not get out much. Do you have any idea what a 38000 average attendance would rank in the AAC ? Here is a hint, it is ahead of Houston and Cincy.

During the tailgate and post game I heard time and again that it was the heat and the lesser opponent to blame for the low attendance & empty stadium at the end. This is not just a Memphis problem.

Dude, you went to Tuscaloosa yesterday instead of Memphis? I know you are a great fan and must've had a good reason, but gotta give you some ish for this. My wife and her family all went down the the Auburn-LSU game, but I said I gotta go watch MY Tigers.

Just hassling you!
04-cheers

My oldest plays travel soccer and this was the first leg of the trip. The soccer games were on Sunday and a bit further South. Going to Memphis makes for a fairly long second leg of the trip. Going to T-town only leaves a 2 hour trip for Sunday. I gotta say watching my daughter play soccer trumps even watching my Tigers. 04-cheers

Sure seemed like more than 38K.

From TV, I would have guessed in the low 40's. However, the new blue seating hides a lot of no-shows at first glance.

Now you change the argument- as soon as it is pointed out that your MAC reference is non-sense.

So now you say the money guys are going to stop funding the program due to a 38,000 crowd for BGSU? Did you talk to several of them? or is this just your conclusion?

Here is another hint for you, TCU in 2011 (the year they were chosen for the Big12)

DID NOT draw 38,000 to one home game., Houston, UCONN and Cincy are leading candidates for the Big 12- what is their home attendance? 03-lmfao

If you have such an inferiority complex that you cannot see the momentum that we have now that is your business, but to spew this non sense in a public board is sad.

Uh ,what ? who has changed the argument . It is and has been about low attendance. The point is in the best years this program has seen in a long, long, long time we can't grow our attendance where it needs to be. You don't want to admit the program will fall back again if the money people don't see better support .You hold onto that dream. If wishes were horses beggars would ride.
