Not Predicting a win ... But
Hugh Freeze teams at Ole Piss do not play with class or integrity. They fold up like lawn chairs if they are pressed. They are very weak in the secondary and don't play the pass well at all.

Chad Kelley locks onto receivers just as bad if not worse than Wallace did. Their running game is NOT scary - Hell, they don't even think it's good as they abandon it at the first sign of difficulty.

Georgia is quite possibly the worst 12th ranked team I've ever seen. Completely one-dimensional - and loading up in the box is the easiest thing to do on defense.

Norvell said he's not concerned with Ole Miss anymore than he is any other opponent- he's focused on what the Tigers do. I LIKE that.

Ferguson appears to be getting more comfortable and is exhibiting more arm strength while avoiding the stupid (Kelley-like) mistakes.

If we don't fall behind early, match them in the first half or stay close - anything can happen.

They have designated the Tigers as their Homecoming sacrifice - Go down there and punch them in the mouth and anything can happen.

We have a better coach and staff. You know what Freeze really thinks down deep ... after all, it's just Memphis ... just like last year.

Probably the best things they've got going for them is the unlimited bucket of money they get from the SEC and the most football-ignorant fanbase in the country.

RE: Not Predicting a win ... But
Ole Piss is probably the best 2 loss team in the Country and really could be and should be 4-0.. It's not gonna be an easy game and I hope we play them close and maybe pull one out..After seeing what they are capable of and what they did today to Georgia it might be hard to stay close!! I hope like heck I'm wrong!!

I thought Ole Prius would be vulnerable after what they lost last year...they just reloaded.
Our defense has its work cut out for them. I really hope we haven't shown everything we've been working on on offense. We'll need the kitchen sink to beat the Black Bears in Oxvegas.

I don't understand why they are still allowed to field a team. How many violations have to occur before the NCAA does something to someone not named Memphis?

RE: Not Predicting a win ... But
All depends if our OL and DL improve over this week of practice. Not getting pressure on the other team while not being able to protect our backfield.

This team will go as far as both lines take them.

Ole Prius runs on electricity. If you turn off the juice you can beat them. At their house for their homecoming cutting the power supply will not be easy. But, if you do, they will help you beat them.

I know one thing ole miss does under Freeze and that is to head hunt. They will target certain players (mostly QB's). All started with that Boise State game a few years ago. Of course a lot of that was due to the Nkemdiche brothers. I really believe that is the reason Fuentes ran the ball so much two years ago down in Oxford, he was trying to protect our QB.

I'd love to see a Tiger win. Anything's possible. I'm not optimistic in this case however.

Hope we beat ole miss, but doubt that'll happen. Sister and brother-in-law are Rebel grads and will be the stands. I'll never hear end of it if Rebels win. Their two kids and their spouses are all Georgia grads and I've never heard the ragging after game. Hope tide will turn this week, but I'm preparing for the worst.

Yeah you try being raised in an Ole Miss family with deep Ole Miss ties in your extended family.

It isn't pleasant.

Agreed... They paid players, and it probably wasn't just the one we know about. The NCAA needs to shut them down instead of letting them beat teams with their semi-pro paid athletes.

RE: Not Predicting a win ... But
I think you guys genuflect perhaps a wee much.

While they opened up leads early in a few games, they were subsequently slobber knocked. It was not as if FSU or Alabama suddenly got lucky. Once the pinks settled down, they were simply overwhelmed.

They have a good football team. Good enough to beat up Georgia who looked like they quit very early...

They should win, but the idea this is a sacrifice or that we deserve the sure to come mocking from our...er...their fan base, is nonsense.

Biggest advantage for the shark beads is they have played significantly better competition, and it is not close. Between BGSU, SEMO and Kansas, taking all their players, very few would make their two deep...while they have played Florida State and Alabama, and even Georgia has athletes like mad.

But...we are not traveling to play the 2004 USC Trojans.
