And Hog Dawg... No shame in what your team did tonight. I think y'all would have a good shot to beat ULM this year.

Cute. Congrats to MTSU. It was truly a great game. But I guarantee you that if I was coaching LA Tech, the Dogs would have walked out of Floyd Stadium with a win. Those last 4 play calls by Skip Holtz on MTSU's 5 yd line belong in the Hall of Shame. I think three of them were "fade" routes. Ugh!! We haven't completed a "fade" route pass since 2010.

Skip just can't win the close ones. That's a fact. If you look at his record, he either blows people out (like we did MTSU last year), or he loses 'em close.

I'm gonna give you rep points. A lot of times people talk smack and if it doesn't go their way, disappear (myself included sometimes). Tech's better than their record shows. They just caught a nasty break with the way the schedule fell.

Good luck the rest of the way.

No, you're totally right HD, you could have won that game...

I can sure NOT call the fade route 3 times in the last 4 plays. I like my chances.

Made no sense at all, That fade route should have been put to bed after the SC state game. The whole Tech fandom was yelling "run the dang ball", wing T, naked bootleg something other than that fade route.

We should have run the ball a lot more the whole game.

But you threw for over 500 yards. Hard to argue with that.

But damn........ Trent Taylor...........

Do you think he gets a shot on Sundays despite his size ? I say "eff" his size.....that dude can catch the rock, and better yet knows what to do after he catches it.

He was hobbled at the end. That's why Tech didn't throw to him.
