I don't think we're ready for football period this year.

Announced crowed of 18,524. The stadium holds 23K. That would need to be a pretty full stadium at 18k.

I think FAU added a box container or two since UCF's last visit to that HS stadium in 2011.

In that 2011 game, both UCF Radio Team and even UCF Coaches only had open air tents as their "boxes".(Photos courtesy of UCFSports.com)

FAU's stadium is a model copy of UCF's stadium but with an opening at one endzone and around 10k less seats

Note to all AAC fans: Do not schedule FIU home and home. The field is dangerous and banged up multiple players, including our starting RB who's possibly out for the year. UCF won't play there again, I hope. Plus it's zero atmosphere and if our UCF fans weren't there, nobody would have been.

You only drop down to FCS of like there are no schools within 800 miles to play. Idaho is an anomaly. NMSU and UMass are closer to reality.

They gambled hard and fell hard.

FIU for example was a recent move up to the SBC. They were horrible but got lucky and got Mario Cristobal as a HC and a NFL WR Ty Hilton? They won the SBC once or twice if I'm not mistaken then instead of just letting their program enjoy the success begged CUSA to let them in.

Since then it's been a disaster.

You're almost right. The mistake was firing Cristobal not the move to CUSA...
