Playing at VT isn't easy for any one. They are 50-4 vs non-conf opponent at home over the past however many years.
ECU needs to regroup and beat UCF. Tough schedule.

Ugly ugly weekend for the conference
0-4 vs the "p5" but still have a shot to go undefeated vs the "G5".

I was hoping, as a conference, we were getting to the point of expecting some P5 victories.

We have had some this year, it just didn't work out this week. VTech,FSU and TCU are certainly top tier teams in their conferences, I wish we would all have been in closer games but it's done time to move on.

You win some, you lose some
Hold serve vs the others
The UConn game was a hard one to lose.

Solid weekend, I think. Won the games we should have, lost the games we were expected to.

I saw the Huskies favored by 3.
The league went 7-4 yesterday. None of the losses were of the WTF? variety, although none of the wins were, either. Basically the conference treaded water in terms of overall power-ratings.

RE: Ugly ugly weekend for the conference
I didn't think that it was an ugly weekend for the conference at all.
We did what we should have done in most cases.
We've been a bit "spoiled" by knocking off a "big conference" opponent regularly, but I think that generally, we did what we were supposed to do this week.

Actually the league did rather well. Memphis, UCF, Tulane ,Tulsa, Temple, Cincy all won and some in blow out fashion. kudos to them. Epic Tulsa comeback against a MWC opponent on the road. UConn let a winnable P-5 game slip by but was toe to toe with them. FSU getting ripped a new one the week prior was about the worse thing that could have happened for USF. I thought the Bulls were primed to beat them. ECU now that was the ugly, ugly performance of the week. Special teams are a total disaster and red zone problems are going to keep us home come bowl season.

Ok, call me spoiled then I guess. We seem to have settled into the tweener roll, undefeated against G5 but still see most/all P5 wins as an "upset".

If B12 stands pat, I will take that for now. Get TV deal done with much more money than other G4, and keep on building.

No doubt, the Huskies losing to the Orange at home did not help at all.
UL did USF no favors waking up FSU.
VT is a tough out at their place.
MEMPHIS faces a revenge minded Ole Miss this week, so we'll see how things go down in Oxford next Saturday night.

RE: Ugly ugly weekend for the conference
It's only an ugly weekend for people who convinced themselves into thinking the AAC of last year was going to be the norm. Regression to the mean...it was inevitable.
The little island that the AAC occupies in the college football world is closer to the rest of the Group of 5 than it is to the Power 5 continent.
