I might also point out if you only take I-4....you still have a ways to go to get to each school. Both are easily more than 8+ miles away each schools' nearest I-4 On ramp but whatever. I guess "The War on I-4 (by way of I-75 and the Central Florida Greenway)" just doesn't have the same marketing ring to it.

I still think of the AFL teams Storm v Predators when I hear this since I believe it was originally started in the early 90's.

Well that's interesting. Benefits both schools. One trophy for 14 sports, and a separate one for football though? Honestly, 95% of fans watch the football game as the indicator of who 'won' the rivalry that year.
