First off, how did the WR Lewis not get drafted?

04-jawdrop That guy was money all of last season and I assumed he would be drafted in the first 2 rounds.

Hopefully the OL will be able to use this game to work out their issues. That is the primary issue with the team at this time. May want to play the first string most of the game regardless of score just so they can get reps and be able to work together as a group.

BGU may be the most important game of the season so far and not just because they are the next game.

Sounds like a game plan. Give them game reps together. Work as many receivers as possible, too. Those guys need to be fed.

But if one of them gets hurt it'll be on coach for "still having him in the game"!

Memphis lost head coach, QB, and others.

Are we talking about TC again?

Sadly, BG looks like they've got Division II talent. I almost felt sorry for them. Maybe after a couple more Tigers winning seasons I'll find it in my heart, but at this I still like a good Tiger ROUT.

11 Touchdowns. 11 Different players.

BGSU appeared to have some talent, but they were so poorly coached and prepared. Looks like BGSU made their Larry Porter hire.

That freshman receiver was pretty good.

Dave Clawson, who may or may not be doing actual honest-to-God football things at Wake Forest. Been there since 2014.

Babers is at Syracuse for some reason.

Eh stuff happens sometimes. The most important thing is to get the win. A blowout would be nice but a closer than comfortable game is not necessarily telling about the rest of the year. Arkansas beat Louisiana Tech 21-20 and then turned around and beat #15 TCU the next week... Just win.

It's just his thing. He likes to set Memphis up to fail. If we cover - no accountability - we were supposed to. But if we don't cover - he will be here to point it out. He did the same thing with KU. We covered, so he has to keep fishing.

I'm just telling the bettors who to take based on advanced stats amigo.

Without crazy turnovers or injuries this is more than a 16 point spread.

Blame the stats if you don't like it.

Nice try. If you were just advising bets, you wouldn't frame it quite like you did with the negative connotation. Trying to put the team in a no-win position.

But after Saturday, you gotta keep fishing. How you going to frame Old Miss - since we won't be favored? Or will you just move straight on to Temple and tell us how they are really not good and we should kill them?

Kind of a silly "Sunday armchair post" since HD warned (regardless of which audience he was telling) that Memphis should easily win by three TD's and if they don't it says a lot about the team.

So, Memphis goes out and wins by 74 points and you try to come back at him?

Weird.

Only if you haven't paid attention to what he does every week with the Tigers and the line. But I get how it's confusing to you.

Stats say Memphis should lose by two scores to Ole, but should cover the 14.

I don't really have a feeling on it given Ole is really good and won't just roll over if things go bad (like BG did) and it is a road game with the revenge factor and Ole won't be looking forward as they have a bye week coming up.

Feel better or let me guess give your MO - gonna take exception to the fact that I said BG rolled over....

One thing is certain - you won't want to enter into a discussion.
