It most definitely is and can be infuriating even though it is not done intentionally. I'm sure it's similar if someone confuses WMU with EMU... there's obliviously a big difference. I hopeful as people become more familiar with the programs and schools the confusion will lesson. The two institutions couldn't be more opposed.

We feel your pain. When Moomba posted earlier to "trust us" on this subject, he was speaking from the heart. The "directional school" syndrome is something we experience all too often.

What's sort of funny is that this wasn't about mis-naming a directional school. It was about some Broncos inability to believe that I could be referencing a game further than 3 weeks out.

Two weeks ago Fleck got credit on ESPN for beating Oklahoma State - as if he were coach of CENTRAL Michigan.

Worst of all one of the announcers had done our Bahamas Bowl game.
