Bad night. It happens. Learn and adjust, accordingly.
You WILL likely knock off someone in CUSA this year. And when that happens, enjoy the heck out of it.
I realize this however I'm still getting over a team up 28 kicking an onside kick since it was there only valid option other blasting the kickoff into the parking lot.
Sorry. That was a little awesome.
To recap: Charlotte had had two personal fouls on an interception returned for a touchdown. Then received a personal foul on the extra point.
EMU kicked off from Charlotte's 20.
They should have kicked the ball through the uprights.

In this league. Charlotte will win some games this year.
We won zero conference games last year. Even pissed away games we should have won. What did you see tonight that made you feel as though this year will be different?
Its one game dude. As you noted, we really pissed away atleast 2 games last year late. We are more talented this year, regardless how we looked in ONE GAME vs. EMU. You know, 3 turnovers tend to make you "look" worse than you probably are. Look at the game stats----(yards, first downs, time of possession, etc.-they were all virtually even). Charlotte will win some CUSA games this season.

If we do, it's just because CUSA is worse this year. We look like the same team as last year.

Against Elon I think we looked better than we would have last year. Against EMU, probably worse and against Louisville it is impossible to tell for the most part (we played no one close to their level last season).

Even if our players are better, our god awful play calling on offense negates it. Mullen is a major, major detriment to this team and program.

While I am no fan of Mullen's I think his criticism is sometimes overdone as well. If the kids execute the plays (without mental errors---not talking about physical stuff) he would look much better and the criticism of Mullen would be much less.
