The service academies have very large followings. Were they respectful of LA Tech? I've heard the horror stories of MT's Armed Forces Bowl against Navy.

I never felt disrespected.

I did, however, feel like they were crybabies. They booed so often I didn't always know what they were booing at.

I guess Navy just doesn't like MT.

Booed a lot huh? Were C-USA officials working the game? Our conference officials are the worst in college football.

Some Navy person claims one of the line judges was from the MAC crew that did the Ok State - CMU game. If that's true (no idea myself) it could have been that same crew.

I'd take that MAC crew over the bums C-USA sent to Apogee this season.

Overall they seem like good fans. You could tell Navy was use to being favored by the referees. It's understandable because they are a service academy.

There were some fans that threw something at the Tech bench after the Henderson PI call, they were drunk yelling USA, USA like hacksaw jim duggan. Doubt they were Naval Academy grads though

Strange move, don't you think?

I think the MAC gave them the "all-in or all-out" ultimatum on membership, and UMass decided it would be better to go Indy in FB.
