Yup. Also good to see an offensive-minded head coach pitch a shutout. ECU would have to look back about 20 years to find the last time they pitched a shutout.

I did have a crazy nightmare about a freak winless season... but I'm glad I woke up and it was all just a dream. Back to reality now with us being the usual competitive team we always are...

Two of those fg should have been touchdowns. Holman did not have a good half passing the ball. If he is hot and cold like that it will be an uphill battle against stiffer competition.

the 2 true freshmen RBs Hamilton and Killins are already the two best backs on the roster. sorry but D. Wilson looks slow compared to them.

Holman has the physical ability but he's so inconsistent....don't know if he'll ever have 'it' consistently but I hope he does well enough to get the Hawaii QB a chance to redshirt

After last year, it feels good just to be scoring points again. Getting score updates while out on a rig in the Persian Gulf.... I was pleasantly surprised to see us score 38 points, and even happier to see we allowed 0. When I get back to Abu Dhabi in a few days I'll catch some more in-depth stats and maybe even a youtube replay of the game. I was a little disappointed by the rushing numbers, but it's the first game on a radically new system. I'm sure it'll be smoother come conference play.

BTW - Kansas and UCF were the only two 0-12 teams last year, and we both picked up wins yesterday. Even against middling competition, a win is a win in these parts.

First half he looked like a Freshmen.

2nd half...Frost slowed down the tempo...adjusted play calls from sideline AFTER defense was set up...and Holman was able to get into a rhythm and became a gunslinger again.

New Video Board was a great...nice to see the team win a game in almost 2 years!

Horrible first half... but in the 2nd half Holman went 8/11 for 165 yards and 2 TDs. His rythm and accuracy on his passes was much better.

Frost waited till defense was set in 2nd half to call his play route...slowing tempo down helped Holman get into a better rhythm.
