Why is any intelligent person evaluating CMU based on them playing the Blue Hose?

Scrimmage at best. Watching that game was a snore.

Nothing good can come from playing a poor FCS team, nothing. Akron beat Morgan State 66-6 in 2012 and went 1-11.

On one hand we are to believe the Presbyterian Blue Pose hose a threat to Chimpdom and it is a valid marker as to where WMU stands (compared to the poorly recruited Chimps)?

Then we discount where WMU stands (2 Brazillion top recruiting classes in a row), ignore Coach Fleck's interview run in todays Free Press re a kick butt culture and depth that makes an intergalactic black hole look shallow?

No wonder some livers quiver about WMU not being able to beat NW!

I'll take a program any day that is committed to single direction over one that cant decide.

No, not at all. But if CMU's challenged too much and sloppy, it's still a game to expose it. It still shows some rust. Not a whole lot to go on unless it's remotely close to a close game. Which it was kinda close, only 14-3 at the half.
